SPT66-4 Parallel unit

Basic folders are available with 4 buckles as standard type, and with 6 or 8 buckles as optional. They are used for parallel catalogue folds and multi-up folds with slitting. They can be converted to a cross folding machine when combined with additional cross fold units.

KTT mechanism

To avoid spacious 3 directional buckle units, Shoei introduced buckle unit followed by its right angle knife with opposing side pockets underneath. Installation of reversing fold plate prior to this knife gives wide range of folding possibilities regardless of "cover" leaf position.
4K model with no pocket under the knife is also available.
Depicted vertical press stacker/knife safety cover/pallet lifting table are optional extras.
Gate fold plate is optional for parallel or right angle closed gate fold.

Suitable for smooth feeding of the folds done on web, glued triplicate or quadruplicate document, stock with window, curly sheets with full ink coverage and porous stock. Sheet advance and suction timing are accurately controlled by photocell and rear sheet separator is a "must" item for full width long-run job.

Zigzag Folder - 6 - 19pockets A2 - B1 size

Recent years have seen zigzag accordion-folded catalogues increasing. Shoei was quick to start working on special folding rollers and buckles for this type of folding conventionally considered to be difficult, and succeeded in perfection of zigzag accordion folding technology and facilitation of machine setup and adjustment. What is more, the buckles of zigzag folder are all with swing deflectors to ensure labor savings and quick setup.
In addition, the use of the reversing fold plate allows final folding of accordion folded material or map to a minimum width of 20mm at the pasted edge.
